Covid-19 – The Ministry of Health: residency forms are no more required upon getting vaccines

The Moroccan Ministry of Health has recently announced that the ongoing Covid-19 vaccination campaign shall now include all citizens and foreign residents, aged 25 or above, noting that the people falling under the said category are all invited to go to their nearest vaccination center, for they are no more required to provide their domicile address.

“The Ministry of Health shall hereby inform all its subjects that Morocco’s vaccination campaign shall now include all citizens aged 25 or above”, a ministerial communiqué revealed.

“The ministry shall also recommend all citizens to visit the nearest vaccination center, for residency address is no more required in the process”, the same source added, noting that such a decision aims at speeding up and facilitating the covid-19 vaccination process nationwide.

The Ministry also stated that the vaccination centers are to be open until 8pm, seven days a week, in order for all employees, especially those working late shifts, to be able to get vaccines upon finishing their office hours.

“All target groups are called to contribute productively to the vaccination campaign, in order to curb the spread of the virus and achieve collective immunity”, the communiqué concluded.
